 Story  

She was often told to “behave”. To wear clothes that did not invite attention. To get good grades but never dream of doing too much with her achievements. To find a “suitable” profession… this long list of requirements was imposed on her, because there were so many eyes on her. What would those people say?

It took her a decade to break free, to turn around and tell them that she did not care what they said. This year, she was celebrating her first year of freedom. For Halloween, her theme was her life’s biggest scary story. After filling her home with little eye-shaped stickers, she smiled and poured herself a glass of wine while they all watched!

This yellow mul-mul cotton printed saree is literally an “all eyes on you” drape that unapologetically makes a statement about owning who you are!  

Description

The mul cotton is what we call ‘made in heaven’ at Suta. Known in West Bengal as mul mul, the fabric is buttery soft and delicately beautiful. The weave of this fabric is very fine, and this lends a very fluid texture to it that makes draping it a breeze. It is truly like a hug that wraps you in its love!
